Drawing Jo Palmer as she hung from ropes was the starting point of these works. Watching a figure suspended in the air was challenging to represent and I have used different materials and techniques to capture the continually moving figure holding a pose as it rotated in space. Jo is based in Bristol and works regularly as an aerialist and trapeze artist.
